Vulcan supports Centro Desportivo e Recreativo de Moatize
towards the National Futsal Championship

On Monday, November 27, Vulcan delivered a range of sports equipment to the Centro Desportivo e Recreativo de Moatize (CDRM), which is preparing to take part in the National Futsal Championship in Maputo, which is being organized by the Mozambican Football Federation.

The competition will take place between December 2 and 17, and the support consists of two pairs of complete equipment, socks, four balls, and 20 boots for the entire squad, in what is the first rapprochement between Vulcan and CDRM.

Speaking about this Vulcan initiative, Reges Tauelia, supervisor of the Social area, left the following message.
“The aim of this support is to promote sport in Moatize, creating the conditions for CDRM to represent us properly at the highest level of indoor soccer in the country,” explained Tauelia, and added: “this help comes from the contact we’ve been maintaining with the CRDM board and based on their needs we’ve made this equipment available,” he concluded.

The President of CDRM, Romualdo Brito, was pleased that his team was the only one representing the province of Tete, and congratulated Vulcan for its support.
“We thank Vulcan for guaranteeing all the equipment for the CDRM players. It was a great effort by the whole team to have the chance to take part in the championship representing the whole province. We would also like to invite more partners to
embrace this cause, because in the end it’s Moatize and our province as a whole that wins,” Romualdo Brito concluded.

Remember that, in addition to this delivery, Vulcan has been supporting this type of initiative aimed at promoting sport, through the Community Sports Program, which so far has covered more than a thousand teenagers and young people from Moatize and Cateme, in various sports.
