More than 39 employees are recognized in the 1st edition of the event “The Best Of The Best”

As a way to celebrate our achievements and recognize those who make it happen in our company, Vulcan held on June 8, the first edition of the employee recognition event, called “The Best Of The Best” – at the Moatize Coal Mine.

To make the event even more impactful, the honorees, a total of 39, had the opportunity to be decorated, through the presence of our Chairman Naveen Jindal, who was very pleased to be able to count on this type of workers in our company.

“We still have a long way to go, however, it is good to have people like you, who give more than is expected to help us move forward,” said our Chairman Naveen Jindal, visibly pleased.

In the end, Anabela Langa, a collaborator chosen to read the message of the recognized, said:

“We are aware that our company in addition to being one of the best to work for, has the ‘best’ professionals in the market. Therefore, to be recognized as the ‘best’ among the ‘best’ has immeasurable significance. We would like to return to this podium in the next events.”

The event “The Best Of The Best” consists of awarding the workers nominated by the leadership for meeting the following criteria throughout the quarter: motivation, attendance, delivery, reporting of unsafe conditions, collaboration and teamwork.

Under the motto: “Leveraging the development of the communities of Moatize”, Vulcan held on the 6th of April, the 4th Edition of the Vulcan Fair, which focused on the launch of new social projects (exhibition of the initiatives that are taking place for the benefit of communities and delivery of school desks), in Moatize.
