Vulcan Reinforces Commitment to Talent Development at ISUTE’s 6th Graduation Ceremony

On 27 June, Vulcan participated in the 6th Graduation Ceremony of the Higher University Institute of Tete (ISUTE), part of the Polytechnic University. The event was attended by the Secretary of State for Tete Province, Cristina de Jesus Xavier Mafumo, and featured Vulcan’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, as the Guest of Honour.

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Mukesh Kumar congratulated the students and their families, emphasizing that dedication, ethics, innovation, and continuous learning are the cornerstones of a successful professional career. The ceremony also marked an important milestone for 26 Vulcan employees, who graduated in various academic disciplines.

As part of its commitment to developing the next generation of Mozambican engineers, Vulcan awarded 10 internships to the top-performing students. The selected graduates will receive practical training at the company’s Power Plant Project in the fields of Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience.
Through its Memorandum of Understanding with ISUTE, Vulcan has continued to strengthen technical education in Mozambique by donating refurbished industrial equipment to the institution’s laboratories and creating employment opportunities for graduates. This partnership reflects the company’s long-term commitment to nurturing local talent, supporting higher education, and contributing to the country’s industrial and economic development.
