The event aimed to present the main actions carried out by the company in 2024, the impacts of these initiatives and the projects planned for this year. Support for education was the forum’s central theme.

He also announced 500 vocational training scholarships in partnership with IFPELAC and signed two memorandums of understanding with the Moatize government, one for agriculture and food security and the other for the education sector.
The Moatize District Administrator, Eugénio Pedro Muchanga, who led the ceremony, praised Vulcan’s role in local development and emphasised the importance of holding the forum as a space for aligning priorities.
“We were introduced to what Vulcan intends to do this year, within what are the development priorities for
district, and this will boost our growth,” said the District Administrator, thanking the company for its commitment to improving the living conditions of the local population.
For his part, Pedro Moendane, Vulcan’s representative, reinforced the company’s commitment to continuing to implement initiatives that promote development in the province and, in particular, in the Moatize district.
“We organised this forum to take an X-ray of what we have done, understand where we are today and ensure that our future is secure and aligned with the wishes, needs and expectations of all stakeholders,” he said.
The Social Responsibility Forum has established itself as an important space for dialogue between Vulcan and its partners, strengthening relations with the communities and reaffirming the company’s commitment to the sustainable development of Moatize.
