As part of its Education Support Program, Vulcan is helping hundreds of young people in the Moatize community gain access to training to obtain a driver’s license by awarding scholarships.

Currently, 100 young people are attending classes at the Saene Driving School, an initiative that addresses the needs identified within the communities and prepares the beneficiaries for the job market.

The training program is yielding positive results, with 50 trainees in practical classes and 50 who have already taken their driving exams. In total, the project has already benefited more than 150 participants and is expected to expand shortly with new classes, with plans to reach an additional 330 members of the Moatize community.

Through this initiative, Vulcan reinforces its commitment to education, professional training, and the creation of more opportunities for the youth of Moatize.
